There are no mistakes in crafting, just unique creations.

Welcome to The Art Of Stamping

Looking to get inspired with your stamping? You have come to the right place!

The Art Of Stamping is all about unleashing your creativity. It’s about finding your passion, digging deep within yourself for inspiration, and harnessing your creativity. The goal is to inspire you to create so be ready to get your hands working.

As a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator, I am one of the lucky ones who get to do what they love and share what I am passionate about – stamping! The Art Of Stamping is all about teaching you tips and techniques, being your creative coach, sharing special offers and rewards, and giving you fun and unique project ideas.

If you hear a voice within you say, “You cannot paint,” then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced. – Vincent Van Gogh

“I’m not crafty.”
“I’m not creative.”
“I don’t know where to start.”

I’ve said these phrases countless times before. I’ve never been the crafty type. I can follow patterns and instructions well, but to create something on my own without a pattern to follow, that’s a completely different story.

Stampin’ Up! makes creating so much easier for the ‘non-crafty’ types. Their card stock, ink, and accessories all coordinate with each other. They offer stamp sets that coordinate together, as well as dies and punches that coordinate with stamps and stamp sets.

At first I thought Stampin’ Up! was all about card making. Little did I know I could make all kinds of crafts from gift boxes, home decor, gift tags, notebook covers, themed decorations, and a lot more.

About Andrea

AndreaI first signed up as a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator to get awesome discounts. It was love at first sight for me with the catalog! As I built up my tools and supplies and was able to make more cards and crafts, I realized that it turned into a passion that I want to share with other people.

I wanted to share it with someone so much that I kept bugging my boyfriend, Scotty, to make a card with me just once hoping he’ll grow a liking to it, too. Of course that didn’t work so I decided to drive all the way to my mom’s place and make some cards with her and my sister. She’s three hours north of where I live.

Scotty and I decided to buy a house in a small town of about 500 people southeast of Edmonton because we both didn’t want to be in the city, but close enough that it’s within an hour drive one way. We found the perfect house in the perfect town, but for my Stampin’ Up! business to work, it meant a lot of driving. Currently, I teach classes and hold workshops in the Beaver County area and the Lac La Biche County area using Stampin’ Up! tools and supplies.

When I’m not making cards, I’m reading, cooking, baking, playing my guitar, writing, taking pictures of random things, doodling, fixing broken gadgets at home, organizing files on my laptop, browsing Pinterest and/or Facebook, blogging, reading blogs, or researching random topics on the internet from how to make ice cream to noetic science. I love learning new things and I’m not afraid to try different things every now and then.
